CONCORD - The New Hampshire Affiliate of the Huntington's Disease Society of America will host the New Hampshire Team Hope Walk on June 10 at 9 a.m. with all proceeds going to support HDSA's mission to improve the lives of people affected by Huntington's disease and their families.

"HDSA provides invaluable and meaningful services to the Huntington's disease community," said Pam Meacham, Affiliate Co-Chair. "There have been so many advancements towards finding a cure, and it's more important than ever to continue this fight. At the HDSA, family is everything, and this family-centered event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate our HD Warriors, grow awareness, and raise funds to keep vital resources available and research moving forward. Register today, spread the word and walk on June 10th to help find a cure for Huntington's Disease."

In addition to hosting the Team Hope Walk the HDSA New Hampshire Affiliate has also raised awareness in the city of Concord by securing the Concord Hotel lights to be turned purple in honor of JHD on May 21st and the lights at the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth be turned blue on May 26th.

Team Hope is HDSA's largest national grassroots fund-raising event, which takes place in over 100 cities across the U.S. and has raised more than $22 million for HD since its inception in 2007. Thousands of families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and communities walk together each year to support HDSA's mission to improve the lives of people affected by HD and their families.
