PrintROCHESTER - For approximately three weeks the Rochester Public Works Department will be flushing hydrants from 11 p.m. through 7 a.m. This will start on May 5 and will continue through May 23.
As a result of flushing, some slight discoloration may be noticed in your water. Any discoloration should clear up within a few hours. Customers are urged to check their water before bathing or doing laundry during this time. Customers may also experience low water pressure during this time.
If residents have any questions or concerns, they may contact the Rochester Public Works Department during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 332-4096.
