Here in the interests of brevity are the Top Ten things we don't have to wrangle over on Tuesday at Lebanon's Public Hearing on the Ambulance question. I'm not saying each and every one is not vitally important. I'm just saying if we keep to the questions on the ballot, it'll be much more productive.

No. 10. How come there were six ambulance payments instead of five?

No. 9. How does an Enterprise Account work?

No. 8. Why aren't the Lebanon Rescue and Fire departments combined?

No. 7. How come you drive on a parkway and park in a driveway?

No. 6. Why did selectmen vote Yes on the Nov. 4 ballot and are voting No on the Jan. 24 ballot?

No. 5. Just who actually is buried in Grant's tomb?

No. 4. Why did the budget committee vote Yes unanimously on the Nov. 4 ballot and are voting No unanimously on the Jan. 24 ballot?

No. 3. Why did selectmen write the article in such a confusing way?

No. 2. Where do Vegas bookies put the over/under on the Jan. 24 vote?

And the Number One question we don't have to ask is:

Why did newly hired Lebanon Fire chief Mark Munroe first accept the fire chief position and then back out?
