ROCHESTER - IHOP may be the favorite breakfast place for kids.
I mean what kid doesn't love digging into one of their Funny Face Pancake combos, which comes with a chocolaty pancake decorated with chocolate chips and whipped cream. The meal also comes with two scrambled eggs, a sausage link and a strip of bacon for $7.50.
Take your child or grandchild there one time and they'll be hounding you again and again.
Rylee gave it two thumbs up.

IHOP's 55+ grilled chicken dinner

Meanwhile, I was tempted to get a gluten free waffle, but instead opted for the 55+ grilled chicken dinner, which comes with a generous portion of nicely flavored chicken breast meat, fresh broccoli and rice pilaf, for just $9.99.
The coffee cost about $3.25, but I didn't mind, because it comes with your very own warming pot that keeps it nice and hot for at least a half an hour, I found.
Another thing I like about this place is they list the calories for each menu item, something I think is important.
Despite enjoying the copious amount of food I found on my plate, I was a bit doubtful that it was only 160 calories as listed on the menu.
The service could've been a tad better, but to be fair, there were only two waitresses waiting on a fairly large crowd.
Bottom line, decent prices, good value, good food and I'll be back.

IHOP is located in the Rochester Crossings off Washington Street in Rochester.
