DOVER - The Strafford County Jail inmate who died on Sunday has been identified as Mark Delisle, 42, of Manchester.

First responders said Delisle died in his sleep.

A Strafford County Sheriff's Office statement received Tuesday indicated that the inmate was found unresponsive in his cell around 5:30 a.m.

The sheriff's office and Dover Police are both investigating what has been determined an untimely death.

Officials said no foul play is indicated at this time.

Delisle was an inmate under the authority of U.S. Marshals, who identified him as the deceased on Tuesday.

A warrant for his arrest was issued on April 25 for alleged supervised release violations following his 2012 conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was awaiting a hearing on the loss of his release arrangement.
