ROCHESTER - Jacqueline McKay, 71, of Leonard Street, died Monday, February 27, 2017, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born November 1, 1945, in Cambridge Mass., she is the daughter of the late Ann Santasky.
Jackie has lived in Rochester for the past 40 years after moving from Cambridge, Mass. She graduated from Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. She was employed with the State Department at the Passport Center in Portsmouth, N.H., for 15 years and before she worked at Wentworth Douglass Hospital. She enjoyed watching productions at the Rochester Opera House, and in the past bowling at the Bowl-A-Way lane in Rochester. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Members of her family include her sons; Paul and Tommy McKay, her daughter, Suzanne Pridham and her husband Larry of Durham, her grandchildren Alleigh, Emma, Jacob, Ronnie and Nathanial Pridham, her brothers Edward Cooper of Cambridge Mass., her sisters; Louise Rowan of Dorchester Mass., Joanne and her husband Robert McCarthy of Kingston, Mass., and Ann Raymond and several nieces and nephews whom she loved.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Peter Santasky and William "Sonny" Cooper.
