MILTON - Jacquelyn Douglass, 84, of 96 St. James Avenue died Sunday, May 11, 2014, at her home after a period of failing health.

She was born in Boston, the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Knowlton) Dupont.

She worked for many years as a sales clerk for Sears. Mrs. Douglass was a member of the Community Church of Milton.

Members of her family include her husband of 64 years, Sherman N. Douglass, daughter, Deborah Horton, both of Milton; granddaughters, Monique Griffin and her husband Ryan of Amesbury, Mass., Noelle Horton of Lynn, Mass. and her fiance John McCusker; great granddaughters, Summer and Skylar Griffin of Amesbury, Mass.; son-in-law Edward W. Horton of Winthrop, Mass.
