James 'Jim' S. Adams ... volunteered with United Way

SOMERSWORTH, N.H. - James "Jim" S. Adams was reunited with his loved ones in heaven on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at home after a brief illness.
Jim was born in Newburgh, N. Y. on November 21, 1961, the son of Richard S. Adams and Mary Tieder Adams. He will always be remembered as a kind, gentle, respectful soul who met the many challenges in his life with grace.
Jim was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family, and volunteering his time to the United Way and Meals on Wheels.
Jim leaves behind his mother, Mary T. Adams of Lebanon, Maine; his sisters, Susan L. Adams and her wife, Lynne R. Park of Lebanon, Joan E. Adams Bickford and her husband, Joseph of Rochester and brother, Tyler C. Adams of New York City, New York; and faithful friend, Claire Lane of Somersworth, N.H. His two cats Burton and Peanuts who brought joy to his life.
