ROCHESTER - James L. Copithorne, 82, died Friday, August 7, 2015, at Wolfeboro Bay Care Center in Wolfeboro, N.H. after a period of failing health.
James was born in Boston on April 13, 1933, the son of Richard and Charlotte (Nickerson) Copithorne and had been living in Rochester, N.H. for the past thirteen years, moving from Saugus, Mass. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, going to the casinos, camping, bike riding, walking, spending time with family and loved animals. He was predeceased by his wife Roberta (Currie) Copithorne who died in 2007.
Surviving members of the family include: one son, James J. Copithorne of Wolfeboro, NH, two daughters, Carol Bogrett of Webster, N.H. and Suzzanne Troy of Danvers, Mass., two brothers, Thomas Copithorne and Richard Copithorne, one sister, Maryellen Blundo, four grandchildren, Samantha, Jesse, Kendra and Jimmy, and several nieces and nephews.
