Job Fair for recovering addicts set for June 7 in Biddeford

BIDDEFORD, Maine - An event specifically held to match job seekers recovering from addiction with potential employers will be held June 7 in Biddeford.

Maine-based employers and recovery organizations will be in attendance at an inaugural Recovery Workforce Job Fair, which will match job seekers with job opportunities.

The job fair will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Pepperell Mill Campus Event Center followed by a workshop from 1-3 p.m. for employers seeking to work with the recovery community.

Job-seekers and employers wishing to register to exhibit should RSVP at facebook.com/repgrohman. Attendance is free.

The event is being organized by Marty Grohman, a businessman and state legislator, York County Sheriff William King, and ENSO Recovery in Portland. The University of New England / Coastal Healthy Communities Coalition is providing logistical support.
