ROCHESTER - Kathy Lafferty, 65, of Hawk Lane died peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday June 24, 2015, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.
She was born February 6, 1950, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Harold and Jane (Griffin) House.
Kathy was a caring and loving woman and her profession reflected that as a nurse at Gorham Medical Center. She deeply loved her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald T. Lafferty, her parents, and a brother John House.
Kathy is survived by a son Shawn T. Lafferty and Kimberly Robinson of Dover, a daughter Melissa J. Mitchell and her husband Casey of Rollinsford, two brothers Michael Ronan of Washington, Kurt House and his wife Beth of Sandown, N.H., three sisters Kelly Johnson and her husband Mike of Salem, N.H., Joann House of Laconia, Kimberly Campbell and her husband Scott of Epping, two grandchildren Samuel Donald Mitchell, Sophie Kathleen Mitchell, and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
