ROCHESTER - L. Allyson Laurion, 66, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness.

Allyson was born in Sanford, Maine on July 10, 1947, and was a longtime resident of Rochester. She was a former owner and operator of Handy Ron's Convenience store in Rochester for many years. She loved camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her father Robert Bernier Sr.

Surviving members of the family include: her husband, Roger Laurion of Rochester, her mother Pauline Bernier of Sanford, Maine, one son Michael Dodge of Washington state, five daughters, Tracy Poulin and her husband John, Kristen Briand and her husband Ken, Leigh Marino and her husband Ron, Ronni Laurion and Alicia Laurion all of Rochester, two brothers Robert Bernier of Sanford, Maine and Chris Bernier of Springvale, Maine, one sister, Ann Whitehouse of Springvale, Maine, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
