LACONIA - A Laconia man has been arrested in the death of his 58-year-old mother.

Police got involved around 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday when they were dispatched to 52 Old Prescott Hill Road in Laconia.

Upon arriving at the residence, Laconia Police officers found Linda Dionne deceased inside the residence where they also encountered Dionne's son, Christopher Garon, 32.

Christopher Garon was arrested and charged with one count of Second-Degree Murder, according to a Dept. of Safety press release.

He is currently being held without bail, and an arraignment will be scheduled before the 4^th Circuit - District Division in Laconia.

Meanwhile, an autopsy is scheduled to take place today.

The charge against Mr. Garon is only an allegation, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
