Their Pad Thai is absolutely scrumptious (Rochester Voice photo)

MILTON - In just a few months Milton has added three new restaurants to its culinary lineup, with the most recent addition being the Lakeside Thai Kitchen located at the site of the former convenience store on St. James Avenue.
The Lakeside Thai Kitchen is run by Air and Infeng Vongsay and their family, who are all super friendly and helpful when ordering.
We chose the Pad Thai, one of Thailand's most popular dishes.
The first thing I like about Pad Thai is it's made with rice noodles, which are gluten free, but the best about it is undoubtedly the taste.
This is a sweet and savory infused dish that is, as Randy Jackson used to say on American Idol, dope.
Before you know it, you've eaten the whole thing.
It comprises the aforementioned rice noodles along with egg, fresh bean sprouts, scallions and sprinkled with ground roasted peanuts, which add mightily to its allure.
You can get it with most any protein, from chicken and beef to shrimp, or you can get it with just vegetables or tofu. It's up to you.
Whichever way you get it it's going to be either $13 or $14. I got one plate to go and it lasted two meals.
There's a lot on this menu, and I'm looking forward to exploring Thai food a lot more in the coming months.
The Lakeside Thai Kitchen is located at 5 St. James Ave. in Milton.
