'Late-for-work' driver nabbed going 126 mph on I-95, faces over $400 fine

GREENLAND - A York, Maine, man was arrested for driving 126 mph on Interstate 95 in Greenland on Sunday, New Hampshire State Police said. Alexey Kidney, 19, of York, Maine, was stopped around 7:30 a.m. after a state police aircraft clocked him traveling almost 60 mph over the speed limit. Posted speeds on the stretch of highway are 65 mph. In response to a trooper's question regarding his high rate of speed, Kidney said he was "a little late for work," according to a New Hampshire State Police press release. Kidney will face a judge in Portsmouth District Court in January. He can expect to pay a $434 fine.
