LEBANON - The Lebanon Conservation Commission is exploring ways to increase public interest in the management and use of town-owned lands in Lebanon.

A forum will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Martha Sawyer Community Library in the Hanson School to explore Community Forest projects now in place throughout the northern forest region and how we can benefit from them.

The main speaker for the evening will be state Forester Julie Renaud Evans, who is from the Northern Forest Center.

The center assists communities in managing their own forests so they can benefit directly from the many economic and conservation values.
