LEBANON - A Lebanon man is facing a 1- to 5-year prison term after his indictment this month as a habitual offender.
Daniel Casey, 51, of 293 River Road, is charged with being a habitual offender after having been caught driving in Rochester on July 24 following his conviction on habitual offender charges in New Hampshire in 2004 which prohibited him from doing so.
The Strafford County grand jury handed down the indictment on Oct. 16 and it was made public earlier this week.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been found to warrant a trial.
