ROCHESTER - A Lebanon man ended up being arrested on a slew of charges on Saturday after an officer caught him speeding on Milton Road.

Police say Scott A Lamarco Jr., 30, of 22 Catfish Lane, Lebanon, Maine, was speeding on Milton Road but refused to stop and attempted to elude the officer by turning onto Daffodil Lane.

When the officer caught up with him, Lamarco was found parked in a Daffodil Lane driveway standing next to his car, but police say he didn't know the residents who lived there.

Lamarco, who initially gave a false name to the patrolman, was charged with two Class A misdemeanor counts of disobeying an officer, driving after suspension, speeding and a bench warrant out of Ossipee District Court on a driving after suspension charge.

The Class A misdemeanor charges both carry a maximum year in jail sentence upon conviction.

Lamarco was bailed on personal recognizance with an April arraignment.
