Lebanon man indicted in Acton theft case

Staff Reports

ALFRED, Maine - A Lebanon man was indicted by a York County grand jury this week in a theft that occurred in Acton.

Richard A. Dixon Jr., 34, of 308 Chick Road was arrested back on Sept. 10 on charges he stole items in excess of $1,000 of value.

Court records show a conviction of a similar offense back in 2003.

Chick now faces arraignment in York County Superior Court on a single count of theft, a Class C crime, a felony punishable by jail time.

And indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been produced to warrant a trial.
