ROCHESTER - A Lebanon man was injured on Saturday when police say his SUV crashed into a clump of trees off Salmon Falls Road and rolled over.

The single-vehicle crash occurred in the area of 773 Salmon Falls Road around 10:10 am when police say a Ford Escape driven by James Chasse, 34, of Lebanon, Maine, was traveling northbound when the Ford drifted into the southbound lane and then off the west shoulder. His vehicle then struck two mailboxes and several trees in front of 773 Salmon Falls Road.

It finally came to rest on its passenger side where one of the trees broke at the trunk and fell onto the vehicle.

He was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The crash continues to be investigated. Anyone with information may contacted the Rochester Police Department at the above number and speak with Officer Brooks.
