Lebanon man nabbed for OUI after Sanford crash

SANFORD, Maine - A Lebanon man was arrested for OUI after his car slid off a Sanford road during Tuesday's snowstorm and crashed into an embankment.

Police responded to Patriots Lane around 7:39 a.m. for the report of a vehicle off the road.

When officers arrived they found the vehicle, which had significant damage to the front end.

After a brief investigation John Parent, 25, of 242 Shapleigh Road, was identified as the operator.

Subsequently Parent was arrested for operating under the influence and transported to the York County Jail without incident.
