LEBANON - Both the girlfriend and a family member of a Lebanon man thought missing since late last month confirmed today he is OK.

Pete Collins Jr., 42, had been last seen Aug. 30, prompting his sister, Nicole Seger, to organize a search party on Sept. 17 to go looking for clues to his suspected disappearance, searching the woods along Route 202 and West Lebanon Road.

A relative said later in the day after friends and family members had ended their search that Collins made contact with Seger, letting her know he was OK.

Collins' disappearance for a little more than two weeks sparked a massive social media and poster campaign seeking information on his well being and whereabouts.

Both the family member and girlfriend expressed satisfaction that Seger had put everyone's fears to rest.

Details of his contact with family members were not clear as Seger was not immediately available for comment.
