ROCHESTER - A Lebanon, Maine, woman was arrested on Friday in an assault that occurred last month at a discount liquor store in Rochester.

Police got involved as they responded to Borderline Beverage on Highland Street around 6:50 p.m. on March 25 for a reported attack on a female.

It was reported "the ex-girlfriend of a male had assaulted the current girlfriend," Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said today. "Officers determined the victim was pushed, had her hair pulled and was hit in the face."

The victim sustained minor injuries and was not treated by EMS, according to Pinkham.

Trista Knox, 23, of Chick Road, was charged with six counts of simple assault, each of which can carry a maximum sentence of a year in jail.
