Lebanon woman charged with leaving the scene after crash

LEBANON - A Lebanon woman has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident in connection with a crash that occurred early Saturday morning on a snow-covered Center Road.

Lebanon Fire and Rescue crews who responded to a crash into a utility pole found the doors locked and any occupants gone, so when Maine State Police Trooper John Darcy arrived soon after, he followed footprints in the snow to a residence. When he knocked on the door, however, no one answered.

The vehicle was then towed from the scene and a hold was placed on it, according to police.

Then on Sunday Tracy Cram, 46, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash and operating without a license in violation of restrictions; it was reported Cram was not wearing corrective lenses while driving as she is required.

Her arraignment is set for Springvale District Court in June.
