ROCHESTER, N.H.- Leona Virginia Hennessey, 91, formerly of Wellsweep Acres died Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the Studley Home after a short illness.
She was born April 3, 1925, in Wakefield, N.H., the daughter of Charles and Marion (Harden) Heath. She attended the Church of God in Rochester where she loved to sing in the choir and sang many solos.
The widow of Richard J. Hennessey whom she married on Oct. 4, 1946, and who died in 1984, she is survived by nephews, Royce and Edwin Heath, and niece, Bernice Cameron. She was predeceased by brother, Sydney, Harold, Erwin, half-brother Cecil; sisters, Thelma Hartford, Myrtle Rand, Helen Sapia and half- sister, Alice Young, sister-in-law, Jane Heath.
