Linda Leslie ... retired from Goodwin Community Health

ROCHESTER - Linda Mae Littlefield Leslie (April 17, 1955 - November 28, 2020) died in her home while surrounded by her loved ones after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. A born-again believer in Christ, she is now home with the Lord.

She is survived by her parents, Lindwood "Bink" and Ethel "Mae" Leslie; her siblings, Jim Leslie and his wife Carol; Sharon Couch and her husband Harvey; and Kate Leslie and her wife Donna Marie; her four children, Bill Littlefield and his wife Kristen; Maegan Littlefield, Jessica Littlefield, and Kayla Grenier; and her five beloved grandchildren: Will, Aiden, Jacob, Dallas and Colton. She also leaves behind many close friends and loved ones.

Linda grew up in Rollinsford, graduated from Somersworth High School in 1973, and raised her family in Rochester. She attended True Memorial Baptist Church for nearly 20 years and later became a member at Dover Baptist Church.

During her life, Linda generously gave of her time and her talents, enriching the lives of those around her. She was the first WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor in the state of New Hampshire, and by the time she retired from Goodwin Community Health, she had worked for almost thirty years. As a church member, she sang in choirs, worked as a clerk, served community dinners, and helped host Vacation Bible Schools. She also used her artistic abilities to create intricate and ornate greeting cards for missionaries, pastors, and others who needed encouragement.

The handmade-cards, crafts, and scrapbooks she leaves behind tell a story of a life full of love and laughter, sincerity and song. Her family will fondly remember her joyfully tapping, humming, and singing along to music through good times and bad. Just as the world is a more beautiful place for her having spent time in it, so the melody of the heavenly choir is also sweeter now as she joins in its song.
