ROCHESTER - Little Miss Sophie's Country Kitchen announced on its Facebook Page on Tuesday that a kitchen worker testing positive for COVID-19 has resulted in the restaurant's temporary closure.

"The moment the information was relayed to the owner the business was shut down," the post said. "We are following the recommendations of the state."

Sophie's also said anyone who was in direct contact with the staff member will be tested and go on quarantine.

"This is a small business, this can happen to anyone and unfortunately it has happened to us," they said..

The restaurant, which is co-owned by Meaghan and Jessica O'Brien, is expected to reopen Sept. 27.

The O'Briens also own Jimmy Jones Locker, which had its own misfortune recently when an elderly couple crashed their vehicle into the storefront causing considerable damage, Meaghan O'Brien wrote on her Facebook page.
