MILTON - Many Milton residents may know Jody Gourlay for her performances of our National Anthem at Memorial Day and Veterans Day events at Veterans Park in downtown Milton, but Jody and her husband, Rob, are also both well known for their work with renowned local band Crossfire, which began playing in the mid-80 and played regular gigs in the area for 15 years.

Now the duo play various music venues around the Northern Seacoast, including the Lilac City Grill among others, Jody Gourlay said over the weekend.

The Goulays will bring their considerable talents to the Milton Moose Club this Friday when they host a fund-raiser for the Teneriffe Sports Club, which benefits Milton school athletics.

Rob Gourlay will be playing acoustic guitar for the show, said Jody, who added they play a very eclectic setlist including everything from Steppenwold to Imagine Dragon and songs from the 1950s to '80s.

"We do a lot of classic rock," she said.

Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the Teneriffe Sports Club concession stand during home basketball games, by contacting a TSC member or at Milton Hardware. For more info contact ataatjes@metrocast.net, (603) 501-9665 or message TSC on Facebook.

The event runs from 7-10 p.m. and is for those ages 21 and over.
