Rochester Voice 9:36 a.m.
ROCHESTER - Nanapalooza is here! Girl Scouts invite girls in K-12 to dress like their "Nana," or grandparent, and spend a little time creating their own puzzles and learning what Girl Scouts has to offer them and their families during the event next month. Nanapalooza takes place on April 25, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, 150 Wakefield St. in Rochester. This is a free event that will be fun for kids and give parents a chance to ask questions and join Girl Scouts. Registration is required, one per family, at https://bit.ly/4lqlmF1. Can't make it to this event? No worries! Girl Scouts host many events throughout the year and you can also join anytime at www.girlscoutsgwm.org. About Girl Scouts Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges--whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
