MILTON - Luella Snyder, 70, of Milton died following a battle with cancer on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Born on March 31, 1947, in Freeport, N.Y., she was the daughter of William T. and Lucilla E (Stickroth) Snyder.
Lue was a graduate of Nute High School in Milton, Class of 1965. Lue retired from Thompson Center Arms. She was politically active within the community working on the Milton School Board and Budget Committee, she made many wonderful friends and was loved by all who met her. One of Lue's proudest endeavors was being a member of the Friends of Nute and working to restore and improve the historic Nute High School.
Lue is predeceased by her parents William T. Snyder (New York) and Lucilla E. Snyder (New Hampshire). She is survived by her son Gordon Snyder of Louisville, K.Y.; grandson Johnathon Snyder of Sunnyvale, Calif.; grandson Kameron Snyder of Prattville, Ala.; sister Deborah Manning and husband Steven Manning of Center Strafford, N.H.; sister Donna Elliott and Husband Steven Elliott of Milton, N.H.; niece Stacey Henderson of Milton, N.H.; nephew Justin Manning of Center Strafford, N.H.; niece Christine Day of Farmington, N.H.; niece Michelle Galvinski of Stoughton, Wis.; and several great nieces and nephews.
