Lunacy at the southern border, hyperinflation putting Americans at risk

What's really going on in America?

Historic super inflation has raised grocery prices (CPI-13.5 percent) since last year. Our meal planning is now based on what the market chains put on sale for the week.

Go from store to store for the best deals? Those days are gone with the high price of gas. "Even if changing habits requires only giving up certain simple pleasures, it can still be jarring to any family, William Masters, a nutrition science and policy professor at Tufts University, told CNN.

"Not being able to buy the foods that people are used to -- that your children are asking for, that your family wants -- that's a really hard thing," said Masters. It sure is!

Failed Democratic policies have hurt the American family in many other ways too. Reduced buying power for our dollar is costing the American family a month's worth of lost wages. People on fixed incomes are seeing their savings also losing buying power. How will we make that back?

The coldest part of the year approaching, what lies ahead? Being on a fixed income, I know one thing, MORE TOUGH CHOICES. THAT"S WHAT LIES AHEAD. Food or fuel, medicine or fuel, lights or fuel. Yet instead of bringing solutions to the table, All democrats in Congress can do is blame others.

Undocumented, border crossers by the thousands every day. Who are they? what are they bringing here? Are they criminals released from jails as some say? Are they carriers of diseases long thought eradicated from our country like polio, scarlet fever, and monkeypox? WE SIMPLY DON"T KNOW! Border crossers are coming here in numbers too large to be properly vetted The choice is clear. Stop the madness. VOTE FOR CHANGE!!
