Maine becomes last state to release COVID data by zip code

AUGUSTA, Maine - For the first time since the pandemic began, Maine has begun releasing positive test results by zip code.

Numbers released on Wednesday showed Lebanon with cumulative cases at nine, Sanford at 18 and Berwick with eight. Acton has had no cases, according to the Maine CDC website.

Maine is the last state in the nation to release coronavirus cases by zip code or towns and cities.
