DOVER - A man has been indicted in a Rochester robbery in which he allegedly struck the victim with a baseball bat.

William Henry Morann Jr., currently residing at the county jail, is accused of hitting the victim in the leg with an aluminum baseball bat as he committed the theft on Nov. 6.

Since the bat is considered a deadly weapon, Morann is facing up to 15 years in the attack.

The February grand jury indictments were released last week.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, rather than enough evidence has been presented to move forward with trial.
