DOVER, N.H. - A Rochester man who allegedly robbed two gas stations the same day last month has been indicted by a Strafford County grand jury.
James Brouillard, 52, of 105 Whitehouse Road, No. 24, faces up to 35 years in state prison if convicted on all counts.
Court documents say that within hours of each other on Sept. 21, Brouillard committed armed robberies at both the Monster Gas station in Rochester and the Gulf Nouria store in Somersworth.
He is alleged to have threatened physical force during the Somersworth heist while brandishing a knife at Monster Gas.
Brouillard was also indicted as a habitual offender after being picked up while driving on Route 108. Brouillard was originally declared a habitual offender in September 2007.
The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on Oct. 15 and released on Tuesday.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
