Man busted on heroin rap after syringe tests positive

ROCHESTER - The city saw its third heroin arrest in two days as another man was charged with unlawful possession.

Adam J. Montrose, of 42 Green St., Somersworth, was released on personal recognizance pending a February arraignment date in Rochester District Court.

Montrose was arrested in June on a shoplifting charge and police found a syringe on him during the course of the arrest. The syringe was sent to the state lab where it tested positive for heroin, which led to his arrest on Wednesday.
