©ROCHESTER - The man arrested for allegedly brandishing a knife and stealing money from a customer inside a Rochester convenience store last month was arrested again early Saturday morning after it appears he started breaking things at a relative's home and resisted arrest as police sought to take him into custody a short time later.

Dominic A. Peters, 20, of 665 Portland St., was charged with three counts of resisting arrest or detention, two counts of criminal mischief/vandalism and contempt.

Peters was already out on bail on the armed robbery charge on personal recognizance at the time of the Saturday incident, which began a little after 12:30 a.m. when a caller to police dispatch reported a relative of theirs was drunk and smashing items at her address.

Police caught up with Peters on Academy Street, where he was arrested and taken into custody.

Peters was earlier charged with robbing a customer at the Knight Street Cumberland Farms on March 30. After fleeing the scene he was arrested two days later.

The robbery took place around 8 p.m. when it was alleged he got into an argument with an unidentified man - described as an acquaintance of his - and brandished a knife before taking the victim's money as he stood waiting to pay the cashier.

Peters will likely be arraigned on the new charges today in Strafford County Superior Court.
