ROCHESTER - A Rochester man driving drunk and without a valid license ran his vehicle into the side of a building on Rochester Hill Road last month, damaging the structure’s electrical system, police say.

The night it happened Germaine Cadogan, 23, no street address given, was driving a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle, which sustained minor damage.

Cadogan, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was uninjured in the incident, which occurred around 8 p.m. on July 13 at 77 Rochester Hill Road.

Cadogan was arrested at the scene and charged with Operating without a Valid License and Driving While intoxicated.  He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is set to be arraigned later this month in the 7th Circuit Court of Rochester.
