MILTON - A Milton man arrested on heroin possession in February faces new charges after being arrested in two forgeries last week by Rochester Police.

Craig Wiggin, 35, of Kingsbury Drive, was charged with trying to forge personal checks on separate individuals’ accounts at two Rochester banks. He was arrested on April 10.

On Feb. 17 Wiggin was charged with heroin possession after being stopped by Milton Police on a traffic stop, according to an earlier press release.

At the time Wiggin was known to have a warrant out of Milton PD for simple assault. He was observed on White Mountain Highway in the area of Lakeside Market around 6:30 p.m. and stopped on a traffic stop.

Wiggin was arrested on the warrant, and while inventorying the car prior to its being towed, the officer discovered about seven ounces of heroin in the driver door pocket, according to the release.

Wiggin was charged with felony possession of a controlled narcotic, and misdemeanor assault in connection with the original warrant.
