Man nabbed on DV warrant after traffic stop

SANFORD, Maine - A Lebanon man was arrested in Sanford on Tuesday night after a traffic stop resulted in his being taken in on an outstanding warrant.

Raymond L. Gauvreau, 47, of 222 Richardson Drive, was stopped by Sanford Police on an unspecified traffic stop around 10:20 p.m. in the vicinity of 25 North St.

Gauvreau's warrant was for a domestic violence and criminal threatening charge out of North Berwick.

The charge against him is a Class C felony.

Gauvreau was transported to York County Jail in Alfred and later released on bail.
