CONCORD - A Pembroke resident pleaded guilty in federal court to possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl and possession of a firearm and silencer that were unregistered and did not contain serial numbers, the U.S. Attorneys Office announced Tuesday.

According to court documents and statements made in court, during the fall of 2020, law enforcement began a drug distribution investigation into Kyle Goff, 28. During this investigation, the defendant made three controlled sales of fentanyl to a confidential informant.

Based on the evidence obtained from these controlled sales, law enforcement obtained and executed a search warrant of the defendant's home and car. The search of the defendant's home resulted in the seizure of more than 390 grams of fentanyl from a safe in the defendant's bedroom. In addition, the police found a firearm and silencer in the house, both of which had no serial number.

Goff is scheduled for sentencing on Jan 17.
