ROCHESTER - Marie T. West, 68, of Tampa Drive, Rochester, lost her battle, of over 20 years, with Parkinson's Disease on September 25, 2020 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Born April 26, 1952, in Rochester, a daughter of Robert and Theresa (Duchano) Vachon, she was raised in Milton, a graduate of Nute High School. She had fond memories of growing up beside her Gregoire cousins Ronnie, Jerry, Jeanne, Susie and Clare.

After graduation, with her adventurous spirit, she worked on a dude ranch in New Mexico.

A compassionate person, her work career was with home healthcare.

A selfless person, she would give anything she had, to anyone in need.

Marie loved gardening, she was a photographer, a baker/cook, enjoyed sports, antiques and goodwill shops.

She was a classy lady, who made amazing cakes and crafts for everyone, but never truly knew her talents. Everything she did, she did with perfection. Although the disease robbed her of her independence, she courageously fought every day without complaining.
