ROCHESTER - Marilyn O'Brien, 86, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health. She was born February 23, 1933 in Rochester, N.H., the daughter of the late Alfred and Marian Grenier.
She is a lifelong resident of Rochester who worked as a payroll officer for General Electric Company. She was a member of the Victory Club and the Rochester Elks. Marilyn enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Members of her family include her husband of 64 years, George O'Brien; daughter, MaryEllen Riley and husband Brian of Rochester; grandchildren, Jennifer Lachance, Laura Wickman, Theresa and Jamie Cummings, Heather Ashley, JR and Breanna Riley; nine great-grandchildren; son-in-law Kevin Ashley of Rochester, N.H. She was predeceased by her son Nick O'Brien; her daughter, Maureen Ashley and siblings, Raymond and Bernard Grenier, Thelma White and Evelyn Grenier.
