ROCHESTER - Mary Ham "Ham and Eggs", 87, died February 24, 2016, at Hyder Hospice in Dover, New Hampshire.
She was born on April 26, 1928, in Albion, Maine to Frances and Harry Germon.
Mary Ham grew up in Rochester, N.H. She graduated from Spaulding High School in 1946. She was married to Herman Ham for 23 years and raised eight children. Mary was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and was very involved with the New Hampshire Grange. She loved to talk to family, friends, acquaintances, and anyone whom she could bend their ear.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Harry and Richard Germon, and her husband Herman Ham. Mary is survived by her sister Grace Leone. She is also survived by her eight children: Betty Leaver and husband Carl, Karen Ham, Donna Smith and husband Bill, Wesley Ham, Ronald Ham, Kevin Ham, Sheila Kemp and husband Stephen, and Valerie Ham. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family would like to express gratitude to Hyder Hospice, Bethany United Methodist Church, and her close friend Annie Moors for their care and comfort.
