ROCHESTER - Matthew McKuhen, 51, of 22 Whitehall Road died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a sudden illness.

Born October 29, 1963 in Rochester, N.H. he was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 82. He has resided in Rochester since August of 2014 previously living in Charleston, S.C. He worked as a QA specialist and most recently as a laborer for Tyco in Portsmouth.

Matthew enjoyed riding and cleaning his Harley and spending time with his grandchild and days on the lake. He also enjoyed hiking, camping and collecting antiques. He was an active member of the Hillbilly Clan 82 of Omar Shrine Temple in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Members of his family include his daughter, Kelslie Amber McKuen and companion, Eric Hanson, S.C. His parents, Shirley and Frank Nelson, Rochester; grandchild, Miles; brother, Alan and wife Gail McKuhen; sisters, Susie and husband Dave Gordon, Kellie Andujar, Tracie McKuhen, Kathy Degrechie, Judy Chick, Sally Pennell, Sue Hussey, Nancy Rodriguez, his loving friend, Teresa and many nieces and nephews.
