ROCHESTER - Maurice Donald Doucet, 82, died on Monday, June 15, 2015, at the Dover Care and Rehabilitation Center in Dover, N.H. after a long battle with lung cancer.
Maurice was born in Manchester, N.H. on August 28, 1932, the son of Henry Doucet and Graziella Malo. He lived in Rochester for 36 years and served 42 years in the New Hampshire Air National Guard. Maurice served during the Korean War, Vietnam and Desert Storm, and was a member of the American Legion and the Air Force Sergeants Association.
He is survived by his loving wife Therese Yvette Doucet (Lamy) of Rochester, N.H., two daughters: Carol Ann Zeman of Sun City, Florida and Debra Ann Caron of Manchester, N.H., two sons: Maurice Edward Doucet of Portland, Ore. and David Raymond Doucet of Brentwood, N.H., and 8 grandchildren. His sisters surviving him are Pauline Hoskin of Alvin, Ill., Lucille Nelson of Manhattan Beach, Calif. and Janine Thomas of Torrance, Calif.
