Milton woman indicted in Farmington Subway robbery

Ashley Rawson

A Milton woman has been indicted in connection with the robbery of the Subway sub shop In Farmington last month.

Ashley Rawson, 22, of 16 Teneriffe Road, is alleged to have driven co-suspect Jeffrey Smith to the eatery, then written out a note demanding money that Smith handed to the employee, according to the indictment.

Although no weapon was brandished, Farmington Police Lt. Jay Drury said the note indicated Smith, a transient with ties to Milton, had a gun.

After the clerk handed over the cash, the two suspects fled in a truck.

Restaurant surveillance tape from the March 7 incident revealed the identity of the male suspect and an image of the getaway vehicle which ultimately led to the pair’s arrest, Drury added.

Rawson faces trial in Strafford County Superior Court on the charge of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, a felony punishable by 3 ½ to 7 years in state prison.
