Milton woman injured in two-car Rochester Hill Road crash

ROCHESTER - An elderly Milton woman was injured today in a two-car collision on Rochester Hill Road.

The crash occurred in the area of Rochester Hill Road and Squire Lane around 9:40 a.m. when police say Mary Weiss, 80, of Milton, was driving a 2005 Ford Freestar van on Rochester Hill Road and making a left turn into a business.

While making the turn she collided with an Isuzu truck driven by Thomas Bedard, 49, of Lebanon, Maine, who was traveling north on Rochester Hill Road.

Weiss was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation at this time. Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
