ROCHESTER - A motorcyclist was injured on Monday when his bike collided with a minivan on Farmington Road.

Police say the crash occurred when Travis Tapply, 32, of Holderness, was traveling west on Farmington Road on his 2013 Harley Davidson and collided with a Dodge Caravan driven by Michael Lampron of Rochester.

Lampron, 62, was exiting from the Meineke shop when he struck Tapply, who was traveling west on Route 11, police say.

The collision caused Travis to tip over and slide across the pavement.

He was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

The Caravan was able to be driven from the scene. The motorcycle was removed by a local tow company.

Based upon the information received by witnesses of the incident, Lampron was cited for failing to yield.
