Missing girl's dad arrested in 2019 assault; public's help urged, search goes on

CONCORD - The father of a girl missing since October of 2019 was arrested on Tuesday, but police continue to search for the child and ask for the public's help in locating her.

Adam Montgomery, 31, of Manchester, was arrested in Manchester, charged with one count of felony second-degree assault for alleged conduct against Harmony Montgomery, 7, in 2019.

He was also charged with interference with custody, and two misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child pertaining to Harmony Montgomery, according to today's press release from the Attorney Generals Office.

Montgomery is expected to be arraigned today.

Officials continue to search for Harmony and are requesting the public's assistance in locating her.
