AUGUSTA - An autistic Pennsylvania teen missing since Thursday was found safe late Friday night by Maine State Police just hours after they alerted the public. Authorities said the juvenile, Biagio Coppola-Torres, 17, was suspected of traveling from Saylorsburg, Pa. to Maine where he was thought to have been sighted in the area of Falmouth around 1 p.m. on Friday. At the time his final destination was unknown. Coppola-Torres' disappearance was especially troubling since he traveled to Maine by himself in an SUV and is autistic, exhibiting the mannerisms of an 11-12 year old, officials said. Police notified media around 10 p.m. last night that he had been located, but released no further information.
